Fletcher, Badree dismantle timid Lankans: 2016 WT20 No 21 SRL v WIN (Bangalore)

On a flat wicket that was perfect for batting, leg spinner Samuel Badree wreaked havoc with defending champions Sri Lanka's top order with Lahiru Thirimanne, Chamara Kapugedera and Milinda Siriwardana all falling cheaply.

Samuel Badree (3/12) and Dwayne Bravo (2/20) were the pick of the bowlers as they restricted the Lankans to a modest total of 122 runs with only Thisara Perera (40) breaking free in a curiously subdued batting performance that raised eyebrows.

In reply, Andre Fletcher smashed an unbeaten 84 off 64 balls as the West Indies chased down the paltry target in 18.2 overs to register their second successive win in the 2016 World T20 to top the group. West Indies 127 for 3 (Fletcher 84*, Siriwardana 2-33) beat Sri Lanka 122 for 9 (Thisara 40, Badree 3-12) by seven wickets.
