Lankans win series after Buttler incident: 5th ODI (Birmingham)

Sri Lanka secured a six-wicket win against England and clinched the one-day series 3-2 after a controversial and heated decider. In form Jos Buttler was run out backing up at the non-striker's end by spinner Sachithra Senanayake as England's batting fell away. In reply, Sri Lanka won with 10 balls to spare thanks to Lahiru Thirimanne's 60. Sri Lanka 222 for 4 (Thirimanne 60*, Jayawardene 53) beat England 219 (Cook 54, Malinga 3-50) by six wickets.
