SL wilt against Windies pace after Dowrich ton: 1st Test, Day 2 (Trinidad)

Three late Sri Lankan wickets by the quicks gave the West Indies the upper hand after the visitors stumbled to 31-3.

Earlier, Shane Dowrich made a sparkling 125 not out from 325 balls as the West Indies declared at 414-8.

Dowrich shared partnerships of 102 for the seventh wicket with Devendra Bishoo (40) and 90 for the sixth wicket with Jason Holder (40) which allowed the West Indies to recover from 145-5.

Sri Lanka 31 for 3 (Chandimal 3*, Roshen 1*) trail West Indies 414 for 8 (Dowrich 125*, Kumara 4-95) by 383 runs.
