Sibley, Stokes lead recovery against Windies: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Manchester)

Dom Sibley's fighting unbeaten 86 and Ben Stokes’ unbeaten 59 helped England recover from an early collapse to be 207-3 at stumps.

Sibley was dropped twice but combined with Stokes (59 not out) to get England back into the game with an unbroken stand of 126.

Earlier, Joe Root lost the toss in overcast, bowler-friendly conditions and Jason Holder had no hesitation in inserting the home side. England were reduced to 81-3.

England 207 for 3 (Sibley 86*, Stokes 59*) v West Indies.
