Agitated Sachin: Refuses to discuss ball-tampering

In India he's an icon and to the rest of the cricketing world he is simply known as one of the greatest ever batsmen.

In this candid interview with Anjali Rao of CNN Inside Asia.

Sachin Tendulkar discusses his triumphs and dealing with the pressures of fame. He does get quite agitated and refuses to discuss the balltampering issue and related fine imposed by Mike Denness during the second test of India's 2001 tour of South Africa.

June 2008.

I agree with Rohan. The question had to be asked and he handled it well - as would be expected from a professional such as Sachin. The rest of the video shows him not only a great player , but a gentleman.

Well he is a great player, he did handle the question well. The reporter has to ask these questions, what I liked is that she did not persist, she moved on.

The CNN reporter was out of order asking such impertinent questions from the great man.
