Starc rips through Indian batting: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Adelaide)

Mitchell Starc took a career best 6-48 as he ripped through India’s top order to put Australia in a commanding position at stumps on day one of the Adelaide Test.

Nitish Kumar Reddy struck three sixes as he top scored for India with a counter-attacking knock of 42 off 54 balls as the visitors posted 180.

Australia 86 for 1 (McSweeney 38*, Labuschagne 20*, Bumrah1-13) trail India 180 (Reddy 42, Rahul 37 Starc 6-48, Cummins 2-41) by 94 runs.
