Bumrah, Deep last pair stand saves India from follow-on: 3rd Test, Day 4 (Gabba)

Last wicket pair Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep played superbly to take India past the follow-on mark against Australia at the Gabba on day 4.

With nine wickets down, Bumrah and Deep stitched together a vital 49-run partnership that took them past immediate danger.

Earlier, KL Rahul, who was dropped from the first ball of the day by Steve Smith, made 84 and Ravindra Jadeja struck 77 but India were struggling at 213-9.

India 252 for 9 (Rahul 84, Jadeja 77, Cummins 4-80, Starc 3-83) trail Australia by 193 runs.
