Nitish Reddy hits maiden century, rescues India: 4th Test, Day 3 (MCG)

Allrounder Nitish Reddy struck his maiden century to rescue India and provide them hope of saving the 4th Test at the MCG.

Playing in his fourth Test, 21-year-old Reddy made an unbeaten 105 to drag his side from 191-6 to 358-9 at the close. Reddy and Washington Sundar (50) put on 127 for the 8th wicket.

Bad light and rain arrived after tea to lop off 20 overs from the day with India still 116 runs behind.

India 358 for 9 (Reddy 105*, Washington 50, Boland 3-57, Cummins 3-86) trail Australia 474 by 116 runs.
