Dwarshuis shines as Australia rout Windies 5-0: 5th T20 (St Kitts)

Ben Dwarshuis starred with the ball as Australia completed a 5–0 clean sweep over West Indies in the T20 series with a clinical three-wicket win in the 5th match at St Kitts.

After electing to bowl, Australia restricted the hosts to 170 all out, with Ben Dwarshuis claiming 3 wickets and Adam Zampa marking his 100th T20I with a tidy spell. Shimron Hetmyer top-scored for the Windies with a brisk 52.

In reply, Australia chased down the target in 17 overs thanks to explosive cameos from debutant Mitch Owen (37 off 17), Tim David (30 off 11), and Cameron Green (32 off 18), who was later named Player of the Series.

Despite a golden duck for Glenn Maxwell, Australia’s middle order powered them home, with Aaron Hardie finishing unbeaten on 28. The result sealed an 8–0 tour sweep for the Australians and marked the first time a team had whitewashed a full-member nation 5–0 in a T20I series.

Australia 173 for 7 (Owen 37, Hosein 3-17) beat West Indies 170 (Hetmyer 52, Dwarshuis 3-41) by three wickets.
