Henry skittles Zimbabwe with 6 wicket haul: 1st Test, Day 1 (Bulawayo)

Paceman Matt Henry took a 6 wicket haul to knock over Zimbabwe as New Zealand took firm control on Day 1 at Bulawayo.

Zimbabwe, having won the toss and chosen to bat, were bundled out for just 149 in 60.3 overs, with Matt Henry leading the charge with a superb 6 for 39. Nathan Smith provided strong support with three wickets as Zimbabwe struggled against disciplined seam bowling.

In reply, New Zealand made a confident start, reaching 92 without loss at stumps. Devon Conway (51*) and Will Young (41*) looked assured at the crease, leaving New Zealand just 57 runs behind with all ten wickets in hand.

New Zealand 92 for 0 (Conway 51*, Young 41*) trail Zimbabwe 149 (Ervine 39, Henry 6 for 39, Smith 3 for 20) by 57 runs.
