Holder seals narrow win over Pakistan, Windies level series: 2nd T20 (Florida)

In a thrilling finish at Lauderhill, the West Indies edged out Pakistan by 2 wickets in the 2nd T20I to level the series 1-1.

After Pakistan posted a modest 133/9, built around Hasan Nawaz’s quickfire 40 and Salman Ali Agha’s 38, the hosts struggled during the chase against tight bowling, particularly from Mohammad Nawaz, who claimed 3/14.

However, Jason Holder turned the game with a match-winning all-round performance—taking 4/19, grabbing two catches, and then sealing the win with an unbeaten 16 off 10 balls, including the winning boundary off the final delivery.

The match came down to 3 needed off the last ball, and Holder delivered, setting up a high-stakes decider in the final T20I.

West Indies 135 for 8 (Motie 28, Hope 21, Mohammad Nawaz 3-14) beat Pakistan 133 for 9 (Hasan Nawaz 40, Agha 38, Holder 4-19) by two wickets.
