De Kock demolition leads Proteas to series win over Windies: 2nd T20 (Centurion)

South Africa sealed the T20I series against the West Indies with a dominant performance in the second match, overcoming a big visiting total with remarkable ease.

Batting first, the West Indies piled up 221/4, driven by aggressive knocks from Shimron Hetmyer, Brandon King, and a late onslaught from Sherfane Rutherford, putting the hosts under serious pressure.

Despite the size of the target, South Africa remained unfazed, backing their batting firepower on a good surface.

The chase was headlined by a sensational innings from Quinton de Kock, who tore into the West Indies attack with a blistering century, setting the tone from the outset. He was superbly supported by Ryan Rickelton, and the pair ensured the required rate never became an issue.

South Africa stormed to the target with overs to spare, finishing the job emphatically to take an unassailable 2–0 lead and underline their dominance in the series.

South Africa 225 for 3 (De Kock 115, Rickleton 77*, Hosein 2-41) beat West Indies 221 for 4 (Hetmyer 75, Rutherford 57*, King 49, Maharaj 2-22) by seven wickets.
