Taijul, Rana knock over Pakistan, nudge Bangladesh ahead: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Sylhet)

Nahid Rana (3-60) and Taijul Islam (3-67) bowled with fire to guide Bangladesh to a critical 46-run first-innings lead, bundling Pakistan out for 232.

Babar Azam top-scored for Pakistan with 68 off 84 balls. Sajid Khan smashed 38 at the end to reduce the lead to 46 runs.

Mahmudullah struck a bright 51 to extend Bangladesh’s lead to 156 at stumps.

Bangladesh 278 and 110 for 3 (Mahmudul 51, Mominul 30, Shahzad 2-19) lead Pakistan 232 (Babar 68, Saijd 38, Rana 3-60, Taijul 3-67) by 156 runs.
