Tanzid guides Bangladesh as Zimbabwe celebrate series win: 3rd T20 (Harare)

Bangladesh finished the ODI series with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the third and final match at Harare, though the hosts still claimed the series 2-1.

Zimbabwe were bowled out for 199 in 48.1 overs after Wessly Madhevere top-scored with 57, while Bangladesh’s seamers shared the wickets, with Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Taskin Ahmed leading the attack.

Bangladesh chased down the 200-run target with ease, reaching 200 for 3 in just 36 overs. Openers Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Soumya Sarkar dominated with a 151-run stand, with Tanzid scoring 95 and Soumya adding 73 to set up the victory.

Despite the defeat, Zimbabwe celebrated a memorable series win after taking the opening two matches.

Bangladesh (Tanzid 94, Soumya 69, Masuku 2-33) beat Zimbabwe Madhevere 75, Evans 50, Shoriful 4-44) by seven wickets.
