Mark Waugh made a sparkling 110 off 112 as he saw Australia overhaul a spirited Kiwi score in 47.5 overs with 6 wickets in hand to go into the semi finals.
Earlier, Lee Germon (89) and Chris Harris (130) put on 168 runs to put the Kiwis in the seat when they posted a commanding 286-9.
