Sachin century delivers half the total: 2nd Test, 1999 (MCG)

Skipper Sachin Tendulkar blasted 116 (9 fours 1 six) out of India's meager total of 238 all out in the Boxing Day test match.

Australia won by an innings and 180 runs as India collapsed to 195 all out in their second innings.

Tendulkar again chipped in with 52 in the second innings as he took the man of the match award - a rare feat in a losing cause.

Brett Lee took 5-47 on debut.
