Ryder and McCullum build massive score: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Napier)
Quality batting from Jesse Ryder and Brendon McCullum took New Zealand to a dominant 619-9 declared.
Ryder added 64 to his overnight total of 137 to amass 201. A quickfire 115 from McCullum and 55 from Daniel Vettori swelled the total further.
Jeetan Patel and skipper Vettori then spun a web as the Indians slumped to 79-3 at the close.
