England were already assured of a semifinal place and New Zealand now join them after a fourwicket victory on the most bowlerfriendly pitch of the tournament.

The Kiwis survived a late scare to book their place in the semifinal after exploiting a lively Wanderers pitch to skittle England for 146.

Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill smashed 84 in just 12 overs but England's quicks claimed 5 for 27 to eventually stutter over the line at 147-6.
