Herath & Malinga blitz has Sri Lanka in charge: 1st Test, Day 3 (Galle)
Resuming on 2562 after the second day was lost to rain Sri Lanka declared on 5208. Rangana Herath 80 not out and Lasith Malinga 64 smashed maiden Test fifties in a rapid 115 run stand for the 9th wicket. Muttiah Muralitharan needing eight wickets in his final Test to reach 800 then trapped Sachin Tendulka as the Sri Lankans took the upperhand.
