All-rounder Thisara Perera (5-28) ripped through the Indian middle order, removing Ravindra Jadeja and Praveen Kumar for ducks before bowling last-man Ishant Sharma to dismiss India for a paltry 103.
This was India's third-lowest total against Sri Lanka in one-day internationals.
