Windies on top as Sri Lanka follow on: 1st Test, D4 (Galle)

Sri Lanka were forced to follow on by a determined West Indies before the openers dug in to leave a draw the likeliest . From an overnight 165-3, Sri Lanka got to 378-9, needing three more runs to avoid following on, when Shane Shillingford (4-123) took the last wicket. Tharanga Paranavitana and Tillakaratne Dilshan then steered the hosts to 89-0, 113 runs behind with one day to go. Sri Lanka 89 for no loss (Paranavitana 44*, Dilshan 44*) and 378 ((M Jayawardene 59, P Jayawardene 58, Samaraweera 52) trail West Indies 580 for 9 dec by 171 runs.  1st Test, D4 (Galle). Nov 2010
