Trott resists after early Zaheer strikes: 1st Test, Day 1 (Lords)

The opening day was cut short by rain but there is promise that the series will be close. England reached 127-2 in just 49.2 overs.

The hosts lost openers Alastair Cook (12) and Andrew Strauss (20) to Zaheer Khan before Trott and Pietersen steadied England with an unbroken stand worth 65.
