Dilshan century puts Aussies to the sword: 1st T20 (Pallekelle)
Skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan struck a superb century off just 55 balls to secure a 35-run victory over Australia.
Dilshan (104, 57 balls, 12 fours, five sixes) and allrounder Jeevan Mendis (29, 19 balls) combined for a stand of 104 runs in just 45 balls to lift the hosts to 198 for 3.
The Australians' chase was undone by the offspin of debutant Dilruwan Perera (3-26) as they limped to 163-8.
