Brendan Taylor's fine half-century (84) proved in vain as Zimbabwe's run chase fell just short as the hosts pursued Pakistan's total of 247 for seven.
Younus Khan earlier scored 78 from 72 balls and Misbah-ul-Haq 54 as Pakistan (Younis 78, Misbah 54, Price 2-39) beat Zimbabwe 242 for 7 (Sibanda 73, Taylor 84, Cheema 3-36) by five runs.
