Michael Hussey's unbeaten 45 saw the tourists to their target with 15 balls to spare.
Australia clinched the decisive one-day international against South Africa with Michael Hussey named man of the series. "There were a few nerves up in the change room but once again he's performed under pressure," said Australian captain Michael Clarke.
