New Zealand need just six wickets on the final day to capture their first test victory in 10 months after a captivating day four in which 17 wickets fell.Tim Southee finished with 5-62 for his third five-wicket haul in a Test innings and left-arm paceman Trent Boult with 4-42 as Sri Lanka were dismissed for 244 in their first innings in reply to New Zealand's 412. Sri Lanka 227 (Mathews 47, Samaraweera 76, Southee 5-62, Boult 4-42) and 47 for 4 (Southee 2-19, Bracewell 2-5) need a further 316 runs to beat New Zealand 412 and 194 for 9 dec (Taylor 75, Astle 35, Herath 3-67)
