Brownlie ton in vain as Proteas in crushing innings win: 1st Test, Day 3 (Cape Town)

Dean Brownlie held off the top-ranked South Africa's feared quicks for 109, his maiden test century but in the end the hosts secured a crushing innings and 27-run victory inside three days bowling out NZ for 275.

South Africa 347 for 8 dec (Petersen 106) beat New Zealand 45 (Philander 5-7) and 275 (Brownlie 109) by an innings and 27 runs.
