Amla and McLaren down Pakistan: 2013 CT#5 RSA v PAK (Edgbaston)

Hashim Amla's sublime 81 and a disciplined bowling display enabled South Africa to win the crucial Group 'B' encounter by 67 runs after another horror-show with the bat by Pakistan.

Amla shared stands of 53 with Colin Ingram and 59 with Du Plessis but they faltered badly, scoring only 112 runs in the final 22 overs. In reply, Pakistan finished on 167 all out with Ryan McLaren's shining with a spell of four for five in 11 balls.

South Africa 234 for 9 (Amla 81) beat Pakistan 167 (Misbah 55, McLaren 4-19) by 67 runs.
