Root to open, Aussie line up still unsettled (Trent Bridge)

England have confirmed Joe Root as captain Alastair Cook’s new Ashes opening partner, but Chief selector Geoff Miller insists they have not “closed the door” on previous incumbent Nick Compton. In contrast, Australia's line up is still unsettled.
