DRS scandal: ICC muzzles Hot-Spot inventor, Channel 9 stands by report

Warren Brennan, the inventor of Hot Spot, has speculated that a 2nd coating of silicon on bats could be the reason some faint edges are not showing up - he has since been muzzled by the ICC from talking to the press. The Ashes series has descended into controversy with claims players have applied a silicon-based adhesive tape to the edges of their bats in a bid to cheat Hot Spot. Aug 2013
