Watson blasts Aussies to series win: 5th ODI (Southampton)

Australia clinched the one-day series 2-1 with a 49 run win over England.

A brilliant 143 off 107 balls from Shane Watson, supported by 75 from captain Michael Clarke, gave Australia a formidable total of 298. In reply, England were bowled out for 249 in 48 overs with James Faulkner taking 3-31.

Australia 298 (Watson 143, Clarke 75, Stokes 5-61) beat England 249 (Bopara 62, Faulkner 3-38) by 49 runs.
