Dhoni ton in vain, Faulkner sinks India: 3rd ODI (Mohali) - 2 of 2

Australia managed to steal a miracle victory from the jaws of defeat as allrounder James Faulkner smashed four sixes in the 30-run 48th over off Ishant Sharma (1-63) to turn the match on its head.

Earlier, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni slammed his ninth ODI century off just 107 balls. Dhoni came in at a precarious 76 for four after Suresh Raina (17) and Yuvraj Singh (0) fell on successive deliveries. He slammed 139 not out in 121 balls to lift India to 303-9.

Australia 304 for 6 (Voges 76*, Faulkner 64*) beat India 303 for 9 (Dhoni 139*, Kohli 68, Johnson 4-46) by four wickets.
