Rohit rains sixers in double ton, India win series: 7th ODI (Bangalore) - 2 of 2

A magnificent double century by Rohit Sharma (209 off 158 balls) saw India make a mammoth 383-6 as the right hander smashed 16 sixers, a record for an Indian.

Shikhar Dhawan (60) began the onslaught during a 112-run opening stand with Sharma. Rohit and MS Dhoni then plundered 167 runs off 94 balls. Australia made a spirited reply with all-rounder James Faulkner blasting a 73-ball 116 but India clinched the series 3-2.

India 383 for 6 (Rohit 209, Dhoni 62, Dhawan 60) beat Australia 326 (Faulkner 116, Maxwell 60) by 57 runs. 7th ODI (Bangalore).
