Kohli powers India, Sammy snatches win: 2nd ODI (V'patnam)

Darren Sammy hit an unbeaten 63 to help West Indies snatch a surprise win and level the one-day international series against India with a two-wicket win.

Earlier, Virat Kohli (99) missed out on his 18th century and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni smashed a brisk 51 not out, as India posted a daunting total of 288-7.

West Indies 289 for 8 (Sammy 63*, Simmons 62, Powell 59, Darren Bravo 50, Ashwin 2-37) beat India 288 for 7 (Kohli 99, Dhoni 51*, Rampaul 4-60) by two wickets.
