Thisara leads dramatic fight back: 1st ODI (Mirpur)

Thisara Perera hit a career-best 80 not out to steer Sri Lanka to a dramatic win after being 67-8 at one stage as they we're let off the hook with a spate of dropped chances.

The home side appeared to be cruising at 114 for two in reply but contrived to lose their remaining eight wickets for 53 runs, Angelo Mathews taking three for 21.

Sri Lanka 180 (T Perera 80*, Senanayake 30, Shakib 2-29) beat Bangladesh 167 (Shamsur 62, Mathews 3-21) by 13 runs.
