Stuart Broad faced facial treatment after suffering extensive damage to his nose when a short-pitched delivery from Varun Aaron smashed through his helmet.

England defied the loss of Broad to romp to a second consecutive victory over India. Broad was unavailable to collect his man of the match award for his first-innings figures of six for 25.
