Dhawan, Rahane centuries crush Lankans: 1st ODI (Cuttack)

Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan smashed centuries in a huge 231-run opening stand as India crushed Sri Lanka by 169 runs.

Put into bat, Rahane struck 111 from 108 balls to his second ODI century while Shikhar Dhawan returned to form with a 107-ball 113 as India posted a massive 363-5.

In reply, Mahela Jaywardene put up some resistance with a fiery 43 off 36 balls but other batsmen failed to put up any fight.

India 363 for 5 (Dhawan 113, Rahane 111) beat Sri Lanka 194 (Jayawardene 43, Ishant 4-34) by 169 runs.
