Anderson routs SL in opener: 2015 World Cup #1 (Christchurch)
Corey Anderson smashed 75 in 46 balls as New Zealand crushed Sri Lanka by 98 runs in the opening match of the 2015 World Cup.
Sri Lanka were bundled out for 233 with Daniel Vettori taking 2-34 and Anderson 2-18.
New Zealand 331 for 6 (Anderson 75, McCullum 65, Williamson 57, Mendis 2-5) beat Sri Lanka 233 (Thirimanne 65, Anderson 2-18) by 98 runs.
