Cook, Stokes lead defiant England response: 1st Test, Day 4 (Lords)

Ben Stokes hit the fastest Test century in 85 balls at Lord's and Alastair Cook was 153 not out as England fought back against New Zealand to be 295 ahead.

Joe Root also made 84 as England moved from 74-2 and a deficit of 60 to 429-6.

England 389 and 429 for 6 (Cook 153*, Stokes 101. Moeen 19*) lead New Zealand 523 by 295 runs.
