Kumar, Murali Vijay secure series win: 2nd ODI (Harare)

Seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar registered figures of 10-3-33-4 and Murali Vijay scored a steady half century to take India to an emphatic victory and secure the series 2-0.

India posted 271 for eight thanks to a 112-run opening stand between Murali Vijay (72) and skipper Ajinkya Rahane (63). In reply, Zimbabwe managed to score only 209 in 49 overs as Kumar applied the brakes.

India 271 for 8 (Vijay 72, Rahane 63, Madziva 4-49) beat Zimbabwe 209 (Chibhabha 72, Bhuvneshwar 4-33) by 62 runs.
