SL in thrilling last wicket win after late collapse: 1st ODI (RPS)

Sri Lanka survived another unexplained collapse with an easy win in sight as spinner Sunil Narine took 3 wickets in one over to almost snatch a win for the Windies after the home team were well set at 89-1.

Tillakaratne Dilshan's 32-ball 59 was the difference in a tense one-wicket win in a rain-curtailed first one-dayer against West Indies. Earlier, Andre Russell smashed 41 from 24 balls and skipper Jason Holder hit 36 from 13 to lift his team to a total of 159 for eight.

Sri Lanka 164 for 9 (Dilshan 59, Mendis 21*, Narine 3-21) beat West Indies 159 for 8 (Russell 41, Holder 36, Lakmal 3-15) by one wicket (D/L method).
