Dhawan powers win despite Thisara hat-trick: 2nd T20 (Ranchi)

Despite a late hat-trick from Thisara Perera, opener Shikhar Dhawan hit his maiden Twenty20 fifty to help India to a crushing 69-run victory over Sri Lanka.

Dhawan's 51 off just 25 ball enabled India to post a massive 196 for six. In reply, Sri Lanka only managed to post 127 for nine in their 20 overs after losing early wickets.

India 196 for 6 (Dhawan 51, Rohit 43, Thisara 3-33) beat Sri Lanka 127 for 9 (Kapugedera 32, Ashwin 3-14) by 69 runs.
