Pattinson burst hurts Kiwis: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Christchurch)

James Pattinson took 3-29 in a fiery spell as New Zealand limped to 121 for four, with Kane Williamson on 45.

Brendon McCullum, having hit the fastest of all test hundreds, got to 25 in his last innings. Earlier, Neil Wagner finished with a career best six for 106 to help dismiss Australia for 505, for an overall lead of 135.

New Zealand 370 and 121 for 4 (Williamson 45*, Pattinson 3-29) trail Australia 505 (Burns 170, Smith 138, Wagner 6-106) by 14 runs.
