Moeen saves England blushes: 2016 WT20 No 24 AFG v ENG (Delhi)

England were given a scare by Afghanistan before prevailing by 15 runs thanks to a late rally by Moeen Ali and David Willey.

England were tottering at 85-7 but got to 142-7 thanks to a 33-ball stand of 57 between Ali and Willey. Willey then removed danger man Mohammad Shahzad in the first over of the Afghan reply. Afghanistan were never in the chase, eventually falling away to 127-9.

England 142 for 7 (Moeen 41*) beat Afghanistan 127 for 9 (Shafiqullah 35*) by 15 runs.
