Sri Lanka halt the fix, start fightback: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Durham)
Sri Lanka finally showed some fight reaching 309-5 after being forced to follow on 397 behind after being bowled out for only 101.
Skipper Angelo Mathews led the way with 80, Kaushal Silva 60 and Dinesh Chandimal an unbeaten 54 also made strong contributions.
Sri Lanka 101 (Broad 4-40, Woakes 3-9, Anderson 3-36) and 310 for 5 (Chandimal 54*, Siriwardana 35*) trail England 498 by 88 runs.
