Pakistan edge ahead despite Woakes bag: 1st Test, Day 3 (Lords)

Paceman Chris Woakes (5-31) took his match bag to 11 wickets but England face a difficult run chase against Pakistan after the tourists stretched their lead to 281.

Asad Shafiq (49) and Sarfraz Ahmed (45) batted Pakistan into a strong position despite Chris Woakes taking another five-wicket haul - but dropped two catches late in the day cost them.

Earlier, Yasir Shah took 6-72 as England were bundled out quickly for just 272. Pakistan 339 and 214 for 8 (Shafiq 49, Sarfraz 45, Woakes 5-31) lead England 272 (Cook 81, Yasir 6-72) by 281 runs.
