Chandimal ton in vain as Aussies go ahead 2-1: 3rd ODI (Dambulla)

Dinesh Chandimal was last man out for 102 but George Bailey's 70 led the way for Australia to secure a crucial victory in the third ODI against Sri Lanka and go 2-1 up in the 5 match series.

Australia chased down 227 in 46 overs despite a late collapse to deny Sri Lankan batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan a winning farewell in his last ODI appearance.

Australia 227 for 8 (Bailey 70, Wade 42) beat Sri Lanka 226 (Chandimal 102, Zampa 3-38) by 2 wickets.
