Ashwin has England on the ropes: 3rd Test, Day 3 (Mohali)

Spinner Ravi Ashwin took 3 quick wickets as India capped off yet another day of domination over England.

England lost four of their top-order batsmen for 78 runs with Joe Root unbeaten on 36 at the close. Earlier, India took a first-innings a lead of 134 as Jadeja (90) fell short of his maiden Test century.

England 283 and 78 for 4 (Root 36*, Batty 0*) trail India 417 (Jadeja 90, Ashwin 72, Kohli 62, Jayant 55, Pujara 51, Stokes 5-73, Rashid 4-118) by 56 runs.
