Lokesh Rahul hit a career-best 199 but fell tamely in a cruel end to a brilliant knock.

Rahul shared a 161-run fourth-wicket partnership with Nair before missing out on his maiden double century. India's strong reply gpt them to 391 for four with Karun Nair (71) and Murali Vijay (17) at the crease.
