Smith ton powers Aussies ahead 2-1: 3rd ODI (WACA)

Skipper Steve Smith smashed an unbeaten 108 against a sloppy Pakistan to secure his team's seven-wicket victory with five overs to go 2-1 up in the series.

After losing 2 early wickets, debutant Peter Handscomb (82) was gifted two lucky breaks as he and Smith combined for a match-winning 183-run partnership.

Earlier, Pakistan lost their way after Babar Azam hit 84 and guided them to 160-3 at the 30th over mark. Josh Hazlewood was the pick of Australia's bowlers, returning the figures of 3/32 as Pakistan stumbled in the last 20 overs to only post 263.

Australia 3 for 265 (Smith 108*, Handscomb 82) beat Pakistan 7 for 263 (Azam 84, Sharjeel 50, Hazlewood 3-32) by 7 wickets.
